We are hiring Director Cloud and AI, strengthening our Cloud and AI team in the Telenor Group Technology unit. As part of the team, working across our Business Areas in Nordic, Asia, Infrastructure and Amp, we are enabling future technology and growth models with ecosystem collaborations. As Director Cloud and AI, you will have a key role in the technology development together with continuous realization of business outcomes.

As our new Director Cloud and AI, we believe you have a strong data and business mindset with a real passion for transforming business and organizations to better utilize the potential in cloud and AI. You learn fast and take on new challenges and solutions with a can-do attitude. You work equally well with people as with technology.

Some of your main responsibilities:

• Set ambitions and drive initiatives to increase the business impact of Cloud and AI.

• Work closely with industry ecosystem to stay in forefront of the development.

• Define and help our business to define and execute on roadmap to deliver on the ambitions.

• Collaborate across Telenor to define best practices and guidelines.

• Enable Telenor units to mature data and responsible AI compliance.

• Drive strong adoption- and change management governance.

• Contribute to the overall technology strategy execution.

Preferred experience and qualifications:

To thrive in this role, we believe that you have experience and proven results in adoption of Cloud and AI technologies, and the experience with organizational change to enable the business impact. Your background includes hands-on experience in transformations, leveraging data, analytics, and AI for a competitive advantage.

Strong presentation and communication skills are important, and you are eager to learn and develop. You have a collaborative mindset with colleagues and stakeholders, sharing knowledge and experiences, and capable of adapting to new challenges.

• Master's degree, preferably in computer science.

• Experience and track record of applying AI/ML and/or Cloud in businesses.

• Analytical skills combined with being a team player and strong interpersonal skills.

• Strong understanding and experience in Cloud operating model, orchestration, and cloud technologies.

• Built strong understanding of generative AI, large language models, and machine learning.
