We are looking for a Project Controller!

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Controller to join our clients team in Oslo! As a Project Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success and operational efficiency of our LCS Projects portfolio, as well as supporting related projects and business development initiatives.

Job Description

• Perform project control on the LCS Projects portfolio, study projects, and IC support projects

• Conduct cost control follow-up, comparing actual costs to budgets

• Evaluate costs to complete in collaboration with project teams, updating overall forecast at completion status

• Prepare and process client invoices with supporting documentation

• Run revenue recognition at month-end and prepare monthly project reports as required

• Participate in Project Review meetings, providing support to operations management and ensuring financial decisions align with best practices

• Support business development by reviewing opportunities for financial structure and generating risk assessments

• Troubleshoot abnormalities in cost reporting data and liaise with other disciplines as necessary

• Update and maintain Revenue and Cost Budget in the ERP system

• Support project managers in developing and driving commercial strategy to maximize financial outcomes

• Prepare ad-hoc data analysis and reports for operations management as needed

• Undertake any other duties as assigned
   

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

• Proven experience in project control or financial analysis

• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably in a project-based environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

• Knowledge of Norwegian business practices and regulations is a plus
