Elkem Silicon Products is seeking a Technical Marketing Manager who will help us develop our activities and sales into the global construction business. We are seeking someone who wishes to be a part of a fast moving and growing business, where Elkem has a developed a strong track record of market leadership.

Most important areas of responsibility:

• Provide technical advice and support global sales activities to increase the profitability of Microsilica sales to the construction industry
• Promote Elkem's products for concrete and related applications through presentations, written publications and meetings
• Identify and help achieve the specification of Elkem's products in targeted applications and projects
• Direct and manage product development activities; identifying opportunities and managing approved development projects
• Develop marketing materials and sales tools, including web based media, for the promotion of Elkem Microsilica to the construction industry
• Identify new ideas, trends and opportunities within the concrete and construction industry

Qualifications required for the position:

• A background in concrete is essential with a minimum of 10 years technical/sales/marketing experience
• University degree
• Fluent in English

We are looking for a person with good communication and presentation skills. You must be result oriented and demonstrate high levels of drive and customer focus.

You will report to the Global Business director for construction.

Preferred location is Norway, but working from another European country can also be an option for the right candidate.
