G2 Ocean, the world's largest shipping operator within the Open Hatch segment, is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and structured Risk and Treasury Managerto be part of our Finance and Accounting team in Bergen.This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the development of our company.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing derivative and spot trading execution, and risk management including monitoring, advising and controlling key business risk across currency, cargo/vessel, bunkers and carbon emissions.Working closely with the rest of the Finance and Accounting team, youwill contribute to building G2 Ocean's high-performance culture.

For this position, you have passion for and an understanding of best practices in Risk management and Treasury and will be expected to contribute and educate the organization. You will be the key point of contact for trade execution and trading lines, including maintaining and developing the portfolio of trading lines and financial hedging counterparts.

The position reports to the Finance Director and is based in Bergen, Norway.

Your background, experience and skills

• Master’s degree in finance and business administration or other relevant qualification.
• Trading experience from a similar position or financial institution with trade execution in niche markets or similar.
• Experience in working with international and domestic financial institutions.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Knowledge of financial instruments, including hedging.
• Experience with financial and risk modelling.
