Interface Responsible for Multidiscipline Projects for Offshore & Industrial applications

As Interface Responsible, you will be responsible for project activities related to Interface and Layout. Our business is growing towards more complex integration needs for both brown and greenfield plants. You will have the responsibility for managing interfaces between the various contractors and thus co-ordinate interface related activities with these.

In this position, you are expected to see new opportunities as well being responsible for battery limits in the contract and working together with the engineering team in context of scope management.

A key to success in this role will be to drive completion of all interface issues in the project and to have an overview of the boundaries of the delivery. We are seeking to make use of 3D engineering tools to freeze agreement towards externals.

In our EICT deliveries layout and equipment positions is a part of our delivery. In dialog with externals layout is main topic regarding detail design and equipment freeze. You will be organized in Engineering Management unit responsible for Engineering Management in PAEN and report to the Head of Engineering Management.

Workplace: Fornebu (Oslo) and/or Bergen.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure that the project organization understands the interface requirements and schedules.
• Responsible for the quality, correctness, and timely delivery of incoming interface requests.
• Shall raise any contractual issues with Company prior to implementation.
• Ensure that the project organization understands the interface requirements and schedules.
• Take responsible for defining the project needs regarding interface.
• Orientate in a 3D environment.

Your background

• Experienced Project Engineer well organized with administrative skills.
• Good communication skills and a clear view what brings the project forward.
• An inspiring leader who “walks the talk” (responsibility and ownership).
• Eager to learn and develop yourself.
• Good understanding of project needs.
• Can combine theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• You have minimum 5-10 years’ experience in multidiscipline projects.
• Bachelor/Master of Science within EICT or proven experience.
• Experience with multi-discipline projects.
• Commercial awareness.
• Experience in EPC business.
