Join our ESG journey

As a company in the maritime industry, our responsibility for providing sustainable solutions is embedded in our policies. We are also currently facing a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape within the ESG framework. To be able to utilize these developments to the best for our company and stakeholders, we are looking for an ESG and Performance Coordinator to join our team in Bergen.

In this position you will be a part of our sustainability team and report to our Head of Sustainability. You will be a key asset for our company and group in bringing value and insight out of data, and to support and participate in our work on sustainability. You will be working closely with the different entities in the group to establish robust processes within your areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Perform or participate in assessments concerning corporate ESG processes.
• Monitoring of systems for collecting ESG performance data.
• Liaise with vessels and other stakeholders regarding ESG performance.
• Ensure the company’s and vessels’ performance data are in accordance with requirements.
• Work to ensure and continuously improve good data quality.
• Analyze and evaluate performance data.
• Prepare data and reports.
• Participate in relevant forums both internally and externally.
• Keep yourself updated on developments within the areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:

• You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher education within relevant fields, such as science, economics, sustainability, or shipping.
• You have analytical skills and enjoy working with numbers and statistics.
• You have an ability to work structured on complex tasks.
• You have a keen interest in sustainability and will work to continuously improve our efforts and performance.

Competence within one or more of the following will be valued:

• Knowledge about sustainability and the ESG framework.
• Knowledge about the GHG protocol and emissions accounting.
• Knowledge within the maritime industry.
• Knowledge about ship emission regulations.
• Analytical skills in Excel and Power BI.
