Do you want to be a part of the company which is currently shaping the Norwegian and European space future? We are seeking our new Property and Infrastructure Operational Manager.
The Property and Infrastructure Operational Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of physical properties, infrastructures and infrastructure, vehicles and machinery. This role involves strategic planning, effective management, and optimization of property and infrastructure assets to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with all regulations. The manager will coordinate with various departments, manage budgets, and lead projects aimed at enhancing facility functionality and sustainability.
Working tasks/responsibilities
Facility management:
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of cars/machinery
- Ensure all facilities, vehicles and machinery are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards
- Manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facilities,vehicles and machinery
Strategic planning:
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for property development and infrastructure improvements
- Collaborate with senior management to align the infrastructure strategy with the organization's objectives
Budget management:
- Prepare and manage budgets for operations, maintenance, and capital projects
- Ensure cost-effective allocation of resources and conduct regular financial reporting to stakeholders
- Seek cost-effective solutions to improve financial performance
Supplier management:
- Lead the frame agreements with 3rd part suppliers for facility management, making sure deliveries are met withing the agreed budget
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal colleagues and departments
Team leadership:
- Manage a team of operational facility technicians
- Foster a collaborative team environment to enhance productivity and employee satisfaction
- Cultivate a high-performing team aligned with organizational objective
- Support team members in navigating cross-business challenges
Safety and compliance:
- Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures to protect assets and ensure the well-being of occupants
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Implement and follow HSEQS values and processes, demonstrating safety leadership
Sustainability initiatives:
- Promote sustainability within the operations by implementing green practices such as energy-efficient systems and waste reduction programs
Stakeholder engagement:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Address concerns and provide regular updates on property status and ongoing projects
- Collaborates with the director for property and infrastructure to implement innovative technology initiatives within the project portfolio
Qualitifications - education
- Bachelor or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Candidates without a degree but with relevant experience will be considered
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Experience with property operational management
- Knowledge of the technical system needed to efficient manage properties and Infrastructures
- Budget follow up and change management experience
- Fluent in Norwegian and English
This position requires a security clearance
This position Reports to the Property and Infrastructure Director
