Contracts Specialist

Subsea7 is looking to recruit a Contracts Specialist. The Contracts Specialist will support our Contracts department in Stavanger and be deemed part of Subsea7’s Contract skill pool. The position will report to Head of Contracts, Norway. 

The tasks you will solve:

• Tendering department; performing contract reviews, qualifying Client contracts and taking part in negotiations
• Supply Chain department; support subcontract negotiations and support with claims from Subcontractors
• Projects; give contractual advice on a day to day basis and support with Client disputes
• Support all functions and other departments on various legal matters
• Other tasks as allocated by Head of Contracts

What we want from you:

• Degree (financial/economical, engineering, law). Law degree is beneficial. Extensive relevant experience may replace the requirement for a degree
• The vacancy is also open for newly graduated candidates with a Norwegian Law degree (jurist) to apply.
• Commercial interest and market knowledge
• Experience in dealing with disputes and negotiations with Client and/ or Subcontractors
• Fluent spoken and written English
