Category Consultant – Myopia Management – Norway

We’re looking for a Category Consultant (based in Norway) with focus on Myopia Management and our core products, where you’ll be part of this growing global business. What will you be doing?

As a Category consultant with focus on Myopia Management you will have a strong focus on our key MiSight® 1day customers including all our other products and training. This is a role within a high potential segment for CooperVision and we are looking for someone who will drive sales and establish MiSight contact lenses as a key product in the Norwegian market. 

What we offer:

You will work strategically by planning meetings, use data to drive decisions and own your customer roadmap. You will work operationally by educating our customers in Myopia and our MiSight products, conduct trainings and attend fairs. 

In addition to the above duties, you will also be:

  • Responsible for driving adoption and customer activation of our key product MiSight along with other new products.
  • Suporting and educating optometrists so they understand the products and potential with MiSight and the business opportunities.
  • Sharing best practice and providing direction in establishing myopia management as a standard of care in practice.
  • Demonstrating a high level of customer relationship management, business development, product and sales understanding, strategic planning, and coordination between accounts.

To be a successful candidate you will need to have the following:

  • Great selling skills; influences sales process at expert level.
  • Organizational skills for planning your customer meetings and follow up
  • Enthusiastic, engaged, and supportive of all CooperVision initiatives
  • Great communication skills, both verbally and written (Norwegian & English required)
  • Minimum three-years’ experience in customer-facing sales positions.
  • Optical degree (optician/optometrist qualified to practice in Denmark)
  • Business acumen, presentation, and communication skills
  • Effectively identify, evaluate, and assimilate information to determine quality decisions.
  • Ability to deliver training and presentations to various sized customer groups.
  • Use of all Microsoft office suite of tools 
  • within the field (Sales Analytics Specialist/Salesforce champ) is an advantage.

You’ll need to be flexible, as the role requires frequent overnight travel both within Norway and Internationally. You will be attending meetings or trade fairs which can fall on weekends.
