To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions team in Fornebu is looking for a Senior Instrument Mechanical Package Engineer who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing? 

You will be working as a Senior Instrument Mechanical Package Engineer on the Hugin A project. Your responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide input to package requirements
• Coordinate assistance to the packages from the other groups within the instrument and automation discipline
• Coordinate package design with the other disciplines
• Clarifications to suppliers and verification of design into the project

You should have the following:

• BSc or MSc degree in E&I or other relevant systems engineering discipline
• 10+ years of relevant documented experience with instrument and system design of major packages like compressors and SRUs
• Good knowledge of NORSOK standards and European directives like ATEX
• Good experience of supplier follow-up
• Experience of Microsoft tools, knowledge of ProARC and COMOS is beneficial
• Pro-active working style and good communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English 

Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: April 2025 with option for extension
