Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. The strategic direction is to help customers reduce their carbon emissions and maximize the potential of their mature resources. Simultaneously, there is work on feasibility studies related to renewable energy, hydrogen, carbon capture, and offshore wind at our locations in Stavanger, Bergen, and Trondheim. Among our clients are leading companies such as Equinor, OKEA, Vår Energi, ConocoPhillips, and Aker BP.

We are involved in several major projects, including Troll West electrification, Mongstad Waste Water, Draugen electrification, Brasse-to-Brage tieback, Skarv satellite, Balder FPSO, Jotun FPSO and the Åsgaard portfolio.

In addition to the modification projects the segment has several framework agreements for modification and maintenance for Equinor, Shell, OKEA, and Vår Energi.

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions in Stavanger is looking for an Electrical Engineer who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing?

Follow up of Electrical Procurement Packages.
Electrical register
Electrical cable schedule
Febdoc calculation and report
Co-ordination with suppliers and review of documents and drawings.
Engineering inputs to job packages.
Responsible for electrical calculations eg; short circuit calculations .
Report to Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager all matters of importance.
Responsible for Quality and HSSE in own projects.
Ensure identification of changes and input to change requests.
General field instrument engineering, system engineering, automation and control engineering, Fire & Gas systems engineering, layout design, cable dimensioning and calculations, field instrumentation and valves, technical procurement activities related to mechanical packages (as PRD), preparation of MTO`s and requisitions, preparation of installation job-cards, input to other disciplines, coordination and cooperation with suppliers and client

We think you should have some of the following:

Msc, Bsc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience.
Minimum 2 years experience from the oil and gas industry.
Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.
Good experience in supplier co-ordination and follow-up.
Good experience in register and drawings.
Good communication skills and a team player.
Perform estimation work and plan activities
Relevant education.
Follow alliance strategy and philosophy
Software Skills: Project spesific: COMOS, Febdok, MIPS,
Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
