Do you want to lead and develop as a Director for Naval & Workboat portfolio within Kongsberg Maritime?

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Manager for our Naval & Workboat project portfolio in Integrated Projects, reporting to SVP Integrated Projects in the Integration & Energy division of Kongsberg Maritime. In this role, you will be a part of the Integrated Projects business unit management team, delivering project results to the business. You will be leading and developing a team of project managers, fostering a result driven and collaborative culture in tight collaboration with your peers in the organization, and ultimately making expected results in KMs integrated projects portfolio.


Responsibilities

• Owner of integrated delivery projects in the Naval & Workboat project portfolio
• Establish, maintain, and follow up budget and forecast for own department and project portfolio
• Provide strategic direction for the portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled Project Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple large-scale integrated projects, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and within budget
• Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and seamless project execution
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions together with the delivery projects
• Perform robust project monitoring and reporting to track progress, evaluate outcomes, make forecasts, and make data-driven decisions

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field
• Experience in managing large and complex projects, preferably in the maritime industry
• Leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing and motivating teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but not a requirement

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
