Group manager, DP Application software

Our dynamic team provides software resources in Dynamic Position (DP), Thruster control, K-Master, Simulation studies and more, to support all divisions in Kongsberg Maritime. Our young and highly skilled personnel thrive in a fast-paced, hectic environment, where every day is a new challenge.

What you will do

As the Group Manager of DP Application software, you will have a wide range of exciting responsibilities! You will be in charge of managing department budget, financial statements, plans and strategies, as well as personnel.

You will also play a key role in further developing effective routines and processes for the department, ensuring that we have the required capability, capacity, and competence both in the short and long term. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our management team, support partners in KM project network, and collaborate with other departments within the company.

Who are you?

If you have general knowledge of Kongsberg Maritime, products, systems and applications, thats a plus! Managerial experience and/or bachelor or masters degree in engineering is an advantage. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Norwegian is required as we work with partners all over the world. We're looking for someone who has a strong focus on fulfilling customer needs and expectations, as we take pride in delivering top-notch service to our clients.

We are seeking someone with a positive attitude and someone who can work well with others in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and good organizational skills are also important to maintain high-quality work. The ability to think clearly in a hectic environment is crucial - as is self-motivation and good communication skills.
