As the Senior Vice President Supply Chain, you will play an important role in an international company securing the sourcing and thereby production of global products that decarbonize maritime transport. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of leading strategic initiatives aimed at plan, optimize, and manage all processes linked to the supply chain’s organization, thereby enhancing efficiency and reliability across the organization. The position will report to the COO and is located in Bergen.

Main responsibilities
  • In close cooperation with key stakeholders establish and maintain Corvus Energy’s Sourcing Strategy. This includes scouting, vendor qualification, negotiation, and award of Supply Agreements.
  • Lead the Supply Planning process as part of Corvus Energy Integrated Business Processes.
  • Identify need for and establish and follow up sourcing category teams for critical sourcing categories in accordance with Corvus Energy Sourcing Strategy.
  • Manage tactical purchasing planning, inventory purchasing, forecasting and other areas as required.
  • Develop KPI’s/analytic systems and data management capabilities, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against goals specified in the Sourcing Strategy.
  • Direct the hiring and coordinate the training, supervision, reviews, mentoring, and performance evaluations of Supply Chain staff.
  • Manage vendor relationships and Supplier Quality.
  • Identify and manage risk within the Supply Chain.
  • Develop and implement new systems and best practices for SCM.
  • Develop and maintain Supply Chain related workflows and procedures as they are included in Corvus Energy Quality Management System (RMT+)
  • Plan, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the personnel and operations of the organization’s Supply Chain processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s university degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience.
  • Computer literate with MS Office Suite.
  • Dangerous Goods knowledge will be required.
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Norwegian skills.
  • Ability to build credibility, trust, and report with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive and sophisticated management of key stakeholders.
  • A forward thinker who takes initiative to identify and resolve gaps.
  • A proactive problem solver and communicator.
  • Always looking to maximize benefits and minimize risk for the business.
  • Have the drive and flexibility to fit in with a growing company.
  • In depth knowledge of MRP/ERP systems – both the design and usage.
  • Experience from international industrial relations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
