We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer!

Join us in shaping the future of offshore engineering! We're currently seeking a talented Automation/Principal Engineer for System Design. In this role you'll be an integral part of our offshore greenfield project team. You'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in designing unmanned process facilities and contribute to the success of our project through your autonomous approach to design.

Job Description

• Develop System Control Diagrams (SCDs), Function Specifications (FS), signal lists/software reports, Context & Hiding (C&H) diagrams, and Alarm classification

• Design start-up and shut-down sequences for process topsides and subsea facilities

• Participate in internal and external meetings, workshops, and reviews for automation discipline

• Collaborate in SAS Software Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and testing on simulators

• Engage in UFAT/EFAT with equipment contractors to ensure SAS interface alignment

• Establish and maintain engineering databases for SAS software reports and LCI requirements

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering

• Minimum 8 years' experience in automation engineering for greenfield projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf

• Minimum 6 years' experience in control system design activities, including SCD development

• Proficiency in test, verification, and commissioning of process facilities

• In-depth knowledge of automation design standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC

• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong team player with the ability to work independently

• Highly organized with a commitment to deadlines and quality standards

• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and share knowledge

• Ex course certification

• FSE course certification
