About the job

It is an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our journey while having high aspirations together with enthusiastic colleagues worldwide. The role of ESG Reporting Specialist is relatively new to the organization and offers an interesting opportunity to influence and create value from day one. The position will be responsible for the statutory and voluntary reporting related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics for Nordic Semiconductor.

The position will report to Head of Compliance. The position will work closely with specialists within the Legal & Compliance department and collaborate with Nordics respective business units and in particular Quality and Finance departments.


Key responsibilities

  • To develop and continuously improve Nordic’s ESG reporting, including governance of such reporting
  • Responsibility for coordination of data collection, analysis, and preparation for ESG information for Nordic’s statutory reporting and voluntary reporting commitments, e.g., annual reports, Global Reporting Initiative, and UN Global Compact
  • Monitor development in applicable legal requirements and Nordic’s voluntary commitments within ESG reporting
  • Data collection and coordination of ESG data requested by financial analysts, investors, media, and other important stakeholders
  • Subject matter expert for ESG reporting in Nordic Semiconductor
  • Organize and coordinate audit process over ESG reporting
  • ESG content development and update of relevant Nordic communication channels


Qualification and skills

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in economics, law, engineering, or other relevant areas
  • Several years of experience with ESG/CSR reporting, financial reporting, corporate governance, assurance, or other relevant areas
  • Documented IT skills and knowledge of utilization of systems for efficient data collection, management, and reporting
  • Ability to understand and interpret regulations, analyze relevance for the group’s operations, prioritize areas and communicate this in a good way to the organization
  • The ability to navigate in a global matrix organization
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
