We are searching for a Financial Controller with good accounting knowledge and structured approach to problem-solving to strengthen the controlling area in TOMRA Horizon's portfolio. TOMRA Horizon explores new adjacent business opportunities and alternative business models leveraging our technology and decades of know-how in order to facilitate and accelerate the transition to circular economies and increased resource productivity.

The position will be part of TOMRA Group Accounting team at TOMRAs headquarter in Asker. 


Main purpose of the role is to be a financial business partner for our Horizon initiatives. Work tasks include: 

  • Responsible for accounting of Horizon initiatives/entities 
  • Prepare Annual report and tax declarations for Horizon entities 
  • Other mandatory reporting to authorities 
  • Monthly reporting into TOMRA Group consolidation and reporting tool 
  • Prepare, understand and explain expense and profitability reports  
  • Building insightful presentations and material for decision making  
  • Identifying risks and opportunities 
  • Be an important contributor to forecast, planning & business plan processes 
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses for Horizon to support the business needs 
  • Ad-hoc projects and other tasks within Group Finance 


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years higher education within business and finance 
  • 3-5 years’ experience from accounting or controlling 
  • Good holistic understanding of economics and business, structural mindset 
  • Experience with accounting tools and ERP systems 
  • Experience from identifying risks and opportunities 
  • Good communication and presentation skills both in Norwegian and English 
  • Good relationship-building skills
