The Sustainability Lead will play a key role in shaping Cegal’s sustainability journey. This strategic position requires a visionary and inspirational leader who can navigate and harmonize the intersection of business objectives and ESG. Your contributions:

As our Sustainability Lead you will be the voice and promoter of our sustainability initiatives by heading and presenting our ESG position to internal stakeholders, executives, and clients.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Develop and implement a holistic sustainability strategy aligned with business objectives


  • Integrate sustainability principles into decision-making processes and daily operations across our global operations


  • Equip sales and business teams with essential materials to communicate our sustainability initiatives during tender processes


  • Prepare sustainability reports, highlighting progress, achievements, and areas for improvement


  • Adhere to international standards and guidelines for transparent and accurate reporting


  • Stay informed about changes in sustainability-related regulations and ensure regulatory compliance accordingly

 

 

Who you are?

To thrive in this role, we believe you share our passion for technology and interest in learning, and that you probably have:

 

  • Regulatory knowledge, encompassing relevant environmental regulations, standards, and reporting frameworks (such as ISO, CSRD, and GHG Protocol)


  • Deep understanding of sustainability principles, including analyzing sustainability metrics and integrating environmental data into business strategies, with focus on the IT and energy sectors


  • Effective stakeholder engagement abilities, enabling you to communicate with employees, management, clients, and partners


  • Prior experience in a sustainability role, preferably within the IT or energy sector


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration)


  • Excellent communication skills both in Norwegian and English
