We are seeking a dedicated HSEQ Advisor to lead the development and implementation of our HSEQ Business Management System during operations.

Your role
As our HSEQ Advisor you will contribute to the development of our Business Management System in preparation for the operational phase. You'll play a key role in coordinating document-based and process-based management systems and managing interfaces with different stakeholders such as the Technical Service Providers and other disciplines within the Northen Lights JV.
The key to success will be to effectively integrate HSEQ strategies with operational processes and collaborate across the organization to foster a safety-focused culture!
Some of your tasks;
- Support in the development of the NL JV Business Management System in preparation of the Operational phase
- Develop the HSEQ Business Management System for the operational phase
- Compliance System tool development follow-up
- Crisis Management process follow-up
- Organisation and involvement in the HSE events!
What we need from you?
The Northern Lights team operates with a "one team" and a strong new business mentality with support from shareholders both directly and through various Service Agreements. You will need to be willing and able to challenge conventional thinking and approaches to arrive at innovative, fit for purpose and effective business outcomes.

While we do not expect you to tick every box, having knowledge of GHG (Greenhouse Gas), ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, sustainability and taxonomy is a plus, along with familiarity with Norwegian regulations, particularly in CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage), which would be highly advantageous!
Qualifications:
- Generalist or specialized engineer with experience in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
- Preferably knowledge of Oil and Gas industry
- University or Engineering degree / Master degree within relevant field
- We highly value strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, in both Norwegian and English, but proficiency in Norwegian is a requirement in this role.
