On behalf of our client we are searching a Senior Survey Engineer who will work with Marine Installation for a global company in the cable industry.

Responsibilities:

Be a technical key-player for a marine protection SOW.
Review the project contract and analyze all related activities for survey.
Review the project MDR and develop documents/drawings in accordance with it to ensure that engineering work is carried out at a high level.
Verify that all survey requirements are met, evaluated for feasibility and aligned with contract/client requirements.
You may also participate in developing efficiencies and take part in technical improvements relevant to the department.
Actively promote Quality and HSE.

Qualifications:

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be a problem-solver who is capable of thinking outside the box.
Able to work at high speeds and meet short deadlines.
Self-driven and able to take charge of one's own tasks are of the utmost importance.
Comfortable with ensuring quality and safety during the projects.
Fluent in English – oral and written. Norwegian is a plus.

Work Experience:

5 years of relevant experience. Extensive experience with similar positions can compensate for formal education.
Relevant experience in the energy, maritime, marine, oil & gas, offshore or construction fields.
You have worked in companies that are project driven, and have activities related to Marine survey.
You have experience working domestically or internationally.
You have experience with taking charge and working on own initiative through your natural problem-solver mentality and leadership skills.
Experience related to interconnectors, windfarms, or power from shore is preferred.

Education:

BSc or MSc degree in the area of survey or Geoscience
