Project Engineer Structural Design

As our Project Engineer Structural Design, you will report to Department Manager Structural Design. Your role will involve hull- and structural engineering within Ship Design division, such as global strength and calculations, structural grid design, foundations, outfitting and arrangements. You will also support new sales and tender projects, R&T and after-market support.

Key accountabilities

• Contribute to the Structural Design discipline deliveries during project execution
  • Steel Classification drawings
  • Structural Arrangements
  • Foundations and Steel Outfitting
• Perform rule checks, calculations and supporting documentation for relevant approvals
• Collaboration Champion: Collaborate closely with the wider project team
• Uphold delivery excellence and actively contribute to R&D initiatives and sales support.
• Team Player: Foster a positive social and professional environment within our team

Qualifications and experience

• Relevant engineering education, from college or university
• Educational experience with marine structural design and construction is an advantage
• CAD drafting and drawings, project follow-up software and shipbuilding/operational experience also an advantage
