Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the Nordic region utilizing agile working practices to solve challenging customer, commercial and strategic projects? We are currently hiring a new Director to join our team of experienced and driven professionals in Telenor Nordics Customer and Commercial. The team is responsible for leveraging Telenor regional strength to create great products, deliver great customer experience and win customers.
As the new Director in the Nordics Customer & Commercial team, you will work on the most important commercial topics in the Nordics as prioritized by the Nordic Management Team, with responsibility for identifying, scoping, and driving commercial collaboration projects across our four Nordic companies Telenor Norway, Telenor Sweden, Telenor Denmark and DNA in Finland.
Some of your main responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing operating models to exploit Nordic scale across our four Nordic markets.
- Strengthening Telenor’s value proposition and business performance in the four Nordic markets through execution of commercially focused projects.
- Pursuing M&A and/or strategic partnership initiatives that are relevant to achieving the objectives above.
- Driving engagement and execution of the project initiatives together with teams in the Nordic organization, our four local country organizations, and other stakeholders across Telenor Group.
- Building and maintaining a strong network in the local markets and monitoring market developments.
Preferred experience and qualifications:
- 3-10 years from working within strategic analysis, business development, or equivalent roles at a consulting firm, investment bank or in an internal corporate function.
- Experience working at the interface of commercial and technology.
- Experience of navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and ability to lead by influencing a diverse group and at different levels in the organization (senior executives, managers, and subject matter experts).
- Proven track record of organizing and running complex cross-functional and multi-cultural projects.
- Excellent verbal and written English are required, plus one Nordic language is preferred.
- Master’s degree, preferably within business, mathematics, engineering, or similar numerical subject is preferred.
- Experience in a multi-cultural environment; having worked in two or more countries is a plus.
- Recent operational experience from the Norwegian, Danish, Swedish or Finnish telco market is a plus.

- The position can work from Fornebu where most of the Nordic management team sits, or work from one of our offices in Denmark, Finland, or Sweden travelling to Fornebu for meetings when necessary and relevant.
