We are seeking a proactive Business Developer to join our team and drive growth initiatives in the CCS sector. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will support strategic decision-making by conducting thorough market and competitor analyses. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, managing tender processes, and ensuring our strategies align with market trends. Additionally, you will play a vital role in acquiring the right customers at the right time through data-driven insights and strategic actions. The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking abilities, and a commitment to achieving common goals and milestones in a dynamic environment.

Some of the things you will be doing

  • Prepare market and competitor analyses and present opportunity funnel to key stakeholder
  • Provide early information on new business opportunities. Support with research and business planning
  • Keep up with CCS market trends and changes to ensure BD strategies are up to date
  • Identify potential targets and facilitate customer engagements
  • Establish market information and develop market strategies
  • Propose prioritization of sales projects in CCS
  • Support strategic planning activities
  • Facilitate tender processes and initial contractual work
  • Operate our BD software system Salesforce and client databases
  • Identify business improvement opportunities and efficiencies
  • Support CCS finance analysis and planning
  • Support compliance to ensure that all new potential partners and customers are checked (Legal, Tax &
  • Compliance) Input to communication, exhibition and conference planning and execution of webinars (Communication)

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor ?s or master ?s degree in economics, commerce, business or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the energy sector
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize, manage workload, be proactive and handle uncertainty.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships
  • Fluent in English
