The demand for our biocarbon-based decarbonization solution is increasing. WAI is further expanding our business activities in Europe. We are seeking several highly motivated Lead Project Engineers to strengthen our project implementation team for new projects in Nordic countries and beyond. 

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Driving new project development with focus on project feasibility study and pre-engineering.
  • Supporting project implementation with focus on risk mitigation and regulation compliance.
  • Supporting new technology commercialization and scale-up.

This might be you:

  • MSc. or equivalent in Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering, technology sales, project management, project development, or negotiation.
  • An open-minded professional with an engineering background and a willingness to develop commercial skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ability to translate analysis into strategic implications.
  • Working experience from the renewable /process /metallurgy /environmental /battery /material sectors.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources.
  • Excellent written and spoken language abilities in both English and a Scandinavian language.
