Opportunity to work in a large EPC greenfield energy project

For client we are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large EPC greenfield oil & gas project. The right candidate will join a major new build project and will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within engineering of Automation systems, working in the SAS package team on an unmanned process platform.

Responsibilities:

- System Design, interface and follow up of Safety and Automation System as appointed by SAS team lead
- Review of SAS technical package documentation
- Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
- Follow-up and participation in Hardware and Software tests
- Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and client travel to be expected

Qualifications:

-Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English - Both orally and in writing
-Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
-Ability to work independently as well as in team
-Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
-Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others

Work Experience:

-Minimum 10 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects
-Minimum 6 years’ Experience from automation and SAS system design, SAS system responsibility, SAS/automationnetwork solutions and PRE responsibility from green field projects
-Experience and deep knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC

Education:

Bachelor or higher
