Project certification engineer

Do you want to join a fast-growing international tech and manufacturing company that is in the forefront of reducing emissions? We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project certification engineer to join our team at our headquarters in Bergen, Norway.

In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining, monitor and follow-up on documentation and communication related to product certificate for sold orders towards classification societies.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• 
  Support related to product certificate for commercial deliveries (documentation and communication).
• Communicate on compliance issues with team of compliance engineers in the business (located in Canada and Norway).
• Assist on sustaining of the product certification process.
• Assist with communication related to sustaining of products (e.g. Service Bulletins).
• Assist with manufacturing related agreements (e.g. Manufacturing Survey Arrangements).
• Knowledge on statutory requirements and safety standards.

Work Experience and Qualifications:

• Structured, exact and proactive with ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Drive to solve problems alongside other team members.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• English and Norwegian fluency.
• Experience with certification process is an advantage, e.g. equipment manufacturer, classification society, maritime authority, shipyard or fleet operator.
• Experience with electrical systems/equipment and/or battery systems is an advantage.
• BSc Engineer (or an experienced Technician) within Electrical or Mechanical/Marine related discipline.
