The position

By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:
  • Be part of a team that drives the technical development of multiple applications related to Finance & Control (FC) solutions running on cloud environments and on-premise, tools and processes in Equinor.
  • Design and architect end-to-end solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and innovation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the agile devops delivery teams of our sourcing partners, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to meet business requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and tools, implementing these insights to enhance our capabilities and competitive advantage.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and assessments, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.

By joining our team you will be working within a large SAP landscape running on Azure cloud with integrations to lots of internal, external and cloud based solutions.


You

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related fields.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect and strong understanding of business processes, risk management and vendor management.
  • In-depth knowledge of on-premise and cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and microservices architecture.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to bridge Equinor’s Finance and Control business objectives to technology.
  • Knowledge of integration services or experience in integrating applications with third-party systems could be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and requirements for solution implementation, development and operation is beneficial.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies in the area of data management and AI implementation would be an advantage.
