As a Network Architect you will own the Network Architecture for one ore more clients of Cognizant. Design, Planning and Implementation of Network Architecture for a respective set of our Customers. This includes naturally transformation, modernization and standardization of legacy Network. You will have to develop and manage the relationships with the customers as well as the Cognizant account team & other leaders.

About You

As a Network Architect you will own the Network Architecture for one or more clients of Cognizant. Design, Planning and Implementation of Network Architecture for a respective set of our customers. This includes naturally transformation, modernization and standardization of legacy IT Networks. You will have to develop and manage the relationships with the customers as well as the Cognizant account team & other leaders.  

Your Key Result Areas

•  Forge relationships with client enterprise architects and decision makers relating to Network Infrastructure.

•  Responsible for Planning, Design, Implementation and Transformation of IT Network

•  Participate in virtual solution/proposal team on customer bids / RFP’s.

Required & nice to have Skills

Must Haves

• Minimum 8+ Years of Design / Architect level experience

• CCNP,CCIE certifications preferred 

• Strong Architect Level Experience in Cisco Data routing & switching – 

• Have hands on experience in design implementation of following tools CISCO ISE, CISCO DNAC, CISCO Wi-Fi Network

• Should have good knowledge on BGP,OSPF,

• Strong understanding of VRF, Multi VRF, MPLS, SD-WAN

• Strong understanding & troubleshooting skills for Cisco routing & switching

• Strong Knowledge of cisco hardware as Modular switches like Nexus 9K, 7K,5K,3K,2k & 4500 ,6500 switches

• Good knowledge On Checkpoint firewall
