Embark on an exciting journey as a Subsea Control System Technician

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Subsea Control System Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will be responsible for the test and commisioning of company products as well as test equipment and documentation. Offshore service and commisioning when required is also part of the responsibility. 

We prefer you have a documented education in electrical, mechanical or other relevant engineering discipline, and that you are able to work unsupervised and take responsibility. Personal qualities such as problemsolving, adaptability and service minded are valued.

The position reports to the Workshop Supervisor. 


Main tasks and responsibilities: 
 

• assembly of test equipment in cooperation with manufacturing 
• functional testing of completed products and acceptance testing with customers
• environmental testing
• ensuring test equipment and instrumentation is stored properly between use
• ensure test procedures and/or other required documentation in relation to the job is complete and in order
• contribute in assembling topside/subsea equipment when required
• carry out all work in a timely manner and in accordance with company HSE and QA procedures and standards
• all other duties as relevant to the post

• documented education in electrical or mechanical discipline and/or relevant engineering discipline
• relevant experience in a similar position within the Oil & Gas industry
• driving license is required
• good communication skills in Norwegian and English, written and oral
• experience in Microsoft Office Package
