Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the environment? Our dynamic team at the Department of Environmental Industrial Processes (MILJØ) is seeking an enthusiasticSenior Researcher and a Researcher to join us.

About Us:

Department Focus:We’re dedicated to advancing research and development in new technologies that minimize the environmental footprint associated with energy and materials production.

Innovation Areas:Our work spans mineral- and metal-related industrial processes, material development (CO2 sorbents, catalysts, oxygen and energy carriers, multifunctional materials), CO2 capture and utilization, hydrogen production with integrated CO2 capture, thermal conversion processes, extractive metallurgy and bioenergy/biofuels production.

Collaboration:We actively participate in national and international networks and R&D forums, including Hydrogen Europe Research, EERA, EMIRI, and OREEC. As a research partner in the FME “Norwegian Research Center for Hydrogen and Ammonia - Hydrogeni,” we’re at the forefront of sustainable solutions.

What You’ll Do:

Research Excellence:Dive into tailor-made experimental facilities, process design, and optimization. Upscale chemical processes and explore technical feasibility.

Project Leadership:Collaborate with our team to generate impactful research projects. Lead and coordinate project teams.

Industry Connections:Leverage your professional network to initiate collaborations with industry and scientific partners.

Expertise:Bring your knowledge of European, Norwegian, and international research programs and funding schemes. Industrial research experience is a plus.
Focus Areas:Your work will center on pyrometallurgy, hydrometallurgy, chemical engineering and organic chemistry applications.
