To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions team in Fornebu is looking for an Operation & Maintenance Engineer who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing? 

You will be working as Operation & Maintenance Engineer together with other colleagues in the Hugin A project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:

• Providing technical support for the operation and maintenance of oil and gas facilities
• Developing and maintaining operation and maintenance procedures and manuals
• Evaluating and resolving potential operational and maintenance issues
• Developing and implementing maintenance plans and schedules according to client CMMS
• Providing input and collaborating with other disciplines during the equipment specification and procurement processes
• Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations

We think you should have some of the following:

• BSc or MSc in relevant field
• Knowledge of operational and maintenance requirements for oil and gas facilities
• Understanding of equipment functionality and performance
• Familiarized with RCM and CBM approaches and implementation
• Ability to develop and optimize operation and maintenance procedures
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Software skills: CMMS (e.g. SAP, workmate), MS Office Applications
• FMEA skills
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: December 2025 with option for extension
