Job Description

As the Telecom Senior Engineer, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee Telecom deliverables within the study phase

• Contribute to the development of telecom design solutions, encompassing sub-systems, remote operations, maintenance, monitoring, and the integration of new technologies

• Coordinate with telecom vendors and interface with various stakeholders including other disciplines, suppliers, installations, and clients

• Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and reviews pertinent to the Telecom discipline

• Define engineering documents to ensure project clarity and compliance

Qualification Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field

• Completion of Ex course (within the last 5 years)

• FSE course certification 

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in Telecom engineering and telecom system design, particularly within greenfield oil and gas projects on the Norwegian continental shelf

• Experience in Telecom system design during Study phases, FEED, or other relevant contexts

• Proficiency in adhering to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, DNVGL, and IEC

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient communicator in English, both verbal and written

• Ability to thrive in a multicultural team environment with a cooperative working attitude

• Demonstrated teamwork skills alongside the capability to work independently

• Meticulous, systematic, and dedicated to meeting deadlines and quality standards

• Proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation, with a willingness to share expertise

• Capacity to understand and implement requirements outlined in new standards

• Knowledge of Norwegian language is advantageous
