Project Manager Earth Observation Services

KSAT is seeking Project Managers within our Earth Observation division. The role carries responsibility for set up and oversight of service delivery projects with a particular focus on multi-year framework contracts for public institutions such as ESA and the EC as well as supporting our customers within the energy and environment sectors. Our Project Managers are expected to establish a strong relationship with our clients and work closely with them to fulfil project requirements whilst also having the flexibility to support the development and improvement of new and existing services to complement both KSAT's maritime and land-based products and services. Selected candidates will be part of a highly professional team that serves a global market

Main responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of service delivery projects and ensuring fulfillment of contractual obligations towards our clients
• Providing technical support to our sales team and customers
• Supporting operational teams with new service set up, processing and training
• Cross team/division technical coordination where relevant to project and product management
• Input into technical development discussions related to improvements to existing solutions and developments to new services to optimize procedures and processing methodologies.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with sufficient experience working with Earth Observation data, preferably with a Bachelor of Science degree (Remote Sensing, GIS, Geography, Environmental Management or similar). A postgraduate degree in Earth Observation / Remote Sensing or similar Geospatial field is beneficial, but not required. It is also a plus if you have technical knowledge of satellite Earth observation and use of EO data (optical and SAR) - experience with both maritime and land applications. Additionally, it is an advantage to have experience with image processing techniques and processing software (ESA SNAP, ENVI, Catalyst, GDAL).

In this role you will also have close contact with our customers. We would like someone who has experience of managing product/service development projects. Also, preferably from operational industries and customer-facing roles. You must be fluent in English, both oral and written.
