As a Sales Engineer you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in the sales department of various NOV produced components and be responsible for overseeing the entire process, from initial quote, negotiation, ordering to final payment. This role offers a great opportunity for professional development within the sales department as you will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, gaining valuable experience within sales.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle requests and prepare bids.
  • Process orders.
  • Customer support.
  • Coordinate tasks internally between departments.
  • Accommodate our customers’ needs
  • Expedite
  • Spare parts lists

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

To succeed in the role you will need an interest in sales and commercial understanding, a desire to develop your skills and knowledge further. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent admin/sales education is preferred, along with relevant work experience in the field. Technical or mechanical understanding is a plus, as well as the use of ERP system. Our customers, both national/International and NOV internally, with high expectations which means that you must be able to cope with challenges and thrive in a hectic work environment. You will need strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English. As a person you need sales and negotiation skills, team player, thrive for results, integrity, business acumen, and manage your time effectively.
