Mechanical Engineer Additive Manufacturing

Additech is a Norwegian company within additive manufacturing services, located in Bergen and Stord. We help industrial companies enhance the performance of crucial components, enabling manufacturing of complex structures and materials for customized use. Offering end-to-solutions for our customers, including consultancy and courses and with expertise in design engineering and in-house quality printing machines and equipment.

Duties and what you will be doing:

• Develop new designs and modify parts for additive manufacturing
• Hands-on operation of various metal & polymer printers
• Follow up projects
• Technical documentation
• Providing customers with technical support/consultancy and training within the field of Additive Manufacturing
• Travel activities are expected

Qualifications:

• BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering or another relevant field
• Good knowledge of CAD and FEA analysis (topology optimization and computational engineering is a big plus)
• Good knowledge of the various types of Additive Manufacturing (metal & polymer)
• Material science knowledge is an advantage
• Industrial experience is an advantage
• Workshop experience is an advantage
