Senior Engineers – Commissioning

Aibel is looking for Senior Commissioning Engineers for our Commissioning department in all of our locations. You will play an important part in keeping track of all activities regarding commissioning for your discipline and enable for a safe and efficient start up.

About the position

You're a dedicated and independent Senior Commissioning Engineer with a corporative working attitude. We’re searching for someone with experience in High- & Low-Voltage Electro- and Automation Systems, who can follow the commissioning activities throughout all phases, from study to execution. This role will require some travel to our various locations.

Responsibilities and tasks include

• Lead preparation and execution of commissioning within your responsibility area
• Participate in Factory Acceptance test at supplier premises
• Follow up MC verification and take-over scope to Commissioning
• Perform handover from Commissioning to Operation
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues and management related to Commissioning
• Close cooperation with project team and Client team

Qualifications

• A higher degree or Technical College
• Certificate of apprenticeship with relevant experience might be considered
• 5-10 years' experience from similar positions
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English
