Lead Geologist/Subsurface Project Manager

OKEA is focusing a major part of the project activity around existing hubs and is a key player in areas around own operated hubs. OKEA is growing as a company, and the project portfolio are evolving.

To support the growing portfolio OKEA seek to further strengthen the team with a Subsurface Project Manager. In the role you will be responsible for development projects in an early phase, contribute to business development due diligence and support to geological evaluation across the project portfolio.

In OKEA we operate under an asset-centric model where you will work closely to management across the organisation to deliver on subsurface projects on all operated assets.

We are looking for a candidate with strong technical background in geology and static modelling with ambitions to lead subsurface teams and deliver project management in early phase.

The position reports to VP Subsurface Projects and BD.

The team is primarily located inTrondheim, however other OKEA locations can be considered.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Project Manager in early phase projects where subsurface is process owner
• Lead subsurface in business development due diligence projects
• Geoscience expertise support to projects
• Building, quality control & evaluation static subsurface model

Qualifications

• MSc. degree in Geology
• Min. 10 years of relevant experience, including static modelling.
• Experience from project management and leading technical teams is an advantage
• Commercial understanding and solution-driven attitude
• Good communication skills inNorwegian and English, both written and oral
