Sr. Petroleum Engineer/Production Engineer

Vår Energi is seeking a Sr. Petroleum Engineer/Production Engineer to join our Subsurface team. At Vår Energi you can make an impact and contribute to develop the oil and gas industry for the future. We offer exciting opportunities within our operated assets on NCS.

Working in multi-disciplinary teams, you will be the key focal point for production optimisation for one of our operated assets.

Some of the key tasks to be solved are:

• Frequent communication with offshore Central Control Room and cross-disciplinary collaboration onshore (Subsurface, Operations, Facilities/Subsea, Drilling, etc.)
• Monitor the performance of wells to find production optimisation opportunities
• Collaborate with Drilling & Well and Reservoir Engineering with completion design for new wells and implementing of new technologies
• Provide Petroleum/Production Engineering technical input to field development projects.
• Drive our ongoing digitalisation initiatives within Production Optimisation.

• > 5 years of relevant experience in Petroleum/Production Engineering
• Masters Degree in Petroleum/Production Engineering
• You are a good communicator
• Fluent English and Norwegian written and oral communication skills
• Passion for digitalisation and improvement
