Exploration Geoscientists

These roles will be involved in all aspects of our E&P business including prospect generation, licence management, farm-ins and development planning. The successful applicants must be degree qualified and have post-graduate experience including direct industry experience on the NCS or wider North Sea.

Exposure to North Sea development geology in addition to exploration experience will be a strong advantage. Good commercial understanding, project management ability and confident presentation skills will all be required.

Key responsibilities

·        Generate, mature and rank prospects and appraisal opportunities

·        Represent Wellesley’s interests in the appropriate licence committees

·        Assist Business Development efforts in both acquisition and divestment projects

·        Manage subsurface data in line with the company’s systems
