Beskrivelse:

As part of the management team you will be working closely with the founding partners to direct, oversee and lead all financial and logistics operations. On strategic level you are responsible for financial planning, analysis and governance.

On operations level, you will manage accounting and administration functions, as well as finance and cash management. Manage inventory control and inbound logistics of imported goods from around the world and cross border distribution of goods B2B and B2C.


On project level, you will initiate and implement effective strategies in optimizing financial and logistics operations. Leverage best practices and constantly re-engineer allocation strategies - through process or system/ business management software improvements.

  • Actively strive towards Corporate Development and meet objectives in our High Level Plan.
  • Suport CEO and founding partners with investor relations, reporting to stakeholders and securing funding.
  • Monitoring and securing ESG/Insurance/Legal/International Tax and Duty Compliance.
  • Manage and ensure on-time, on-target completion and deliveries.
  • Develop, implement and manage supply chain initiatives to closely support all cross-functional partners.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing allocation strategies that maximize the efficiency of our warehouses and logistics setup to insure the highest possible return on our cost investments.
  • Drive the financial success of Brand by maximizing sales, gross margin, and inventory turn goals.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels and recommend allocation strategy to support replenishment to meet in-stock targets.
  • Work with facility managers to understand capacity utilization - and minimizing overcapacity.
  • Develop and communicate an annual and seasonal distribution strategy, including inbound / outbound flow forecasts and capacity management.
  • Further develop and optimize our packing and shipping instructions to secure efficiency.
  • Communicate inbound and outbound issues and opportunities to sales, buyers, and management.
  • Lead training efforts to develop and support our organization.
  • Collaborate with business partners to implement process & system change when issues are identified
  • Responsible for Collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data to the board and for controlling the financial condition of the Company.
  • Responsible for summaries and forecasts for future business growth to the board.
  • Manage accounting and work closely with our partners in Norway and Netherlands to secure efficient workflows.
  • Manage invoicing, approve expenses and authorize payments.
  • Monitor retail and wholesale business to determine trends and analyze and project results.
  • Prepare budgets and monitor performance.
  • Keep up-to-date with information and technology affecting functional areas that increase productivity and ensure compliance.
  • Work with auditor to ensure sound business practices and compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the creation of a 3-year business plan.
  • Assist in preparing the financial statement of the company to Board.
  • Report financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; developing improvements.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required


REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate is:

Independent, solution oriented, tech savvy and structured.


Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in auditing, economics or finance required – MBA is a plus.

Minimum 3 years relevant experience in auditing and finance.

Prior experience with logistics and or supply chain operations and cross border trade.

You are an early and passionate adopter of new tech, love to automate and are just as frustrated with legacy software as us but know your way around ERP, WMS and accounting software.

Well-developed and demonstrated communication skills (english and norwegian), problem solving and analytical skills, work ethic and integrity.
