Road Logistics Specialist

For our client in Freight Logistics we are looking for a Logistics Operator. 

In general terms the Road Logistics Full & Part loads Operator will have the following responsibilities:

• Support Department in daily operations
• Identify continuous improvement potential and execute improvement initiatives in cooperation with Department Manager.
• Ensure compliance and high quality in all aspects of our operations.
• With operational know-how solve, coordinate and organize operations to fulfill client requirements. Understand and support our customers culture of high quality and actively contribute to make the customers clients as their preferred logistics provider.
• On request create freight calculations, freight budgets, client offers and organize the delivery of assignments to key clients. Request services from relevant departments of the organization to solve client assignments.

  Participate in status meeting with clients and follow up proper actions agreed in client meetings.

Other tasks include: 

• Ensure that daily operations run smoothly and according to clients’ requests.
• Ensure invoicing is done timely and correctly.
• Monitor quality of incoming invoices.
• Keep FSL up to date and correct.
• Handle claims and nonconformities efficiently and in line with quality expectations.
