Software Development Consultant - Remote 

Our customer has developed a Proprietary Trading business with a focus on energy-related commodities. The traders are supported by Market Analysts, Quantitative Developers, Data Scientists and Software Developers.

The team is a cross-functional team with members from Front Office and IT to support the full suite of trading analytics. The team operates by providing a containerized coding environment (CDE) running on a Kubernetes cluster and operating in a DevOps paradigm.

The main work within this team lies with the administration of the Kubernetes cluster, maintaining Docker images, and maintaining GitLab build pipelines. Software development workflows include custom libraries and/or services that need to be created to support bespoke solutions. Backend code is generally written in C# whereas end-user code and libraries are developed in Python.

Kompetansekrav:

• Several years software development experience
• Kubernetes (AKS) Administration using Helm and Flux
• Solid understanding of the inner workings of OAuth 2.0/OIDC
• High level of python 3.10+ understanding
• High level of understanding C# and .net 5+, preferably
• Git (GitLab)
• Ability to understand data and how it hangs together
• Experience with monitoring and observability
• Good social and communication skills in an international setting
• Fluent in English
• Pro-active team player who feels responsible and enjoys challenging themselves
