To strengthen our commercial team, we are seeking a Charterer. The position will report to VP Commercial and is located in the Head quarter office in Tønsberg, Norway. We are looking for someone who aims to find the best solutions for our customers while also contributing to the development of the team. ASSIGNMENT AND RESPONSIBILITY

• Daily chartering activities and commercial trade management.
• Monitoring vessel and cargo fixtures in the market.
• Maintain and expand customer relations and attend relevant market conferences and events.
• Assist and support the management team.
• Coordinate and support fleet planning department.
• Assist in the process of budgeting and trade result forecasting for Saga Welco AS.
• Production and maintenance of presentations and research material.

QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor grade or equivalent relevant education.
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience from chartering, preferably within the dry bulk/break bulk segments.
• Familiar with relevant voyage calculation systems.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written.
• Reliable, dedicated and experienced in contract negotiations and customer relation development.
