The position

Equinor Asset Management (EAM) is a 100% owned subsidiary of Equinor ASA, and has more than 120 bn. NOK under management, invested in securities globally. The company currently has 18 employees, all based in Stavanger. You can find more information about the company at equinorfondene.no. 

We are seeking a dedicated analyst for our Technology, Sustainability and Portfolio Intelligence (TSP) team.  

By taking this opportunity to join our TSP team in Equinor Asset Management you will:

  • Provide analytical support to the EAM organisation, by calculating, analysing and explaining investment results and performance.

  • Develop market and performance reviews, presentations and other communications for clients and board meetings.

  • Be a driving force for change and improvement, participate in and lead various analytical or change projects, typical related to products, data management, IT-systems, and work processes.

  • Contribute to developing and maintaining a data warehouse for reporting purposes, utilising both internal and external data. 

  • Manage, implement, and provide support for IT systems and data warehouses as a super user.

  • Participate in our ambition to strengthen deliveries within responsible investments, including integrating ESG data in investment decisions and reporting.

  • Participate in providing strategic advisory to clients related to portfolio asset management, including related analyses and presentations.

  • A master’s degree in finance, economics, or another related subject, with strong academic records. 

  • Previous experience from an asset management company, investment bank or consulting firm, or knowledge of portfolio management methodologies and ways of working. 

  • A deep interest in financial markets and portfolio management.

  • Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills.

  • A passion for data and technology, and you may also have previous experience of using SimCorp Dimension, Bloomberg, SQL, BI tools or programming languages.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to work confidently in English.
