 Job Description

• Single point of contact towards client, class society and other parties involved in a project.
• Coordinate all activities during project execution needed to deliver contracted scope in time and within expected budget.
• Develop and follow up project plans and ensure that necessary resources are assigned in order to meet project objectives.
• Report project progress both internally and externally.
• Report internally deviations from contract, budget, specifications and project plans.
• Issue VOR in case of variations introduced by the client.
• Ensure that all relevant specifications and procedures are available for involved persons, departments, suppliers in the project.
• Follow-up project with suppliers, technical department and production worldwide.
• Act in accordance with Project Department procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of project experience from technical construction work; ship or offshore, preferably involving cranes and lifting equipment.
• Technical education; minimum Bachelor’s degree (relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal technical education).
• Good economic understanding.
• Good computer skills – operating systems: MS Office, MS Project.
• English language fluent, both written and verbal.
• Structured, creative and solution-oriented.
• Independent and a good team player.
• Excellent cooperation and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Result- and market-oriented.
