We need more engineers/senior engineers to join our riser team at Fornebu.

This is an opportunity for you to play a pivotal role for the riser systems, products, and portfolio within the drilling riser division at HMH. We need for your technical background to hold a strong focus on detail engineering with ability to contribute to the delivery of riser systems for all project deliveries, as well as conducting evaluation and engineering support for the aftermarket. You will actively participate in design improvements and quality as well as the development of riser products, working alongside a team of competent colleagues.

Furthermore, you will have the possibility in evaluating and enhancing our unique condition-based maintenance (CBM) program for drilling risers, known as the RiCon system. This innovative system allows for continuous classification of equipment based on its actual use and condition, rather than rigid calendar-based schedules. While the RiCon system is in its startup phase, it has already been successfully implemented by several customers worldwide, presenting an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to its further growth and development. You can play a constructive part in the vision of further growth and development of the program and tools.

What we think you should have:

You are a skilled engineer with experience in riser, design engineering and project execution. You hold a technical education on BSc or MSc level. Your expertise includes execute design tasks (concepts and detail design), experience in tolerances, manufacturing processes, and familiarity with welding. We need you to have competence with Bill of Material (BOM) management, including change management. You will also be asked to participate and contribute to the design review of the products, so you need the ability to coordinate interfaces towards other work packages.

 

Proficiency in:   

Creo/SOLID WORKS, Windchill, SAP
