About the role

As a Record to Report (RTR) accountant you will be involved in the record to report process, and responsible for ensuring that accounting transactions have a consistently high quality. In the role as a Record to Report accountant, the responsibilities are to ensure daily accounting and perform the period close. The Record to Report accountant will also be involved in the continuous improvement and alignment of the record to report processes across all segments.

The Record to Report accountant will report to the Process owner Record to Report. The position will be located in either Stockholm or Oslo, and it will require some traveling.

As a Record to Report Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Daily accounting

  • Responsible for accounting lines cross company

  • Responsible for period close and reconciliations related to the RTR accounting area

  • Knowledge and responsibility of making sure accounting lines are posted correctly and according to accounting policies and local accounting rules.

  • Monitoring and errorhandling of automated processes

  • Continuous improvement and alignment of record to report processes

  • Support and assist continuous improvement initiatives and relevant projects

Who we are looking for

A Record to Report Accountant should have

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field

  • Experience with working in the record to report process including the use of record to report automation tools.

  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and suggest possible improvements

  • Independently driven, but collaborative and easy to work with

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fluent in English and Swedish or Norwegian
