"Greater Trondheim region" is strengthening its strategic branding and marketing efforts towards international target groups. In order to showcase the region as an attractive place to work and invest, two strategic initiatives are being launched and strengthened in 2024: The full implementation of a regional City Brand, including a brand new information and communication platform (Trondheim.com), and "WorkinTrondheim“.

WorkinTrondheim is an ambitious Talent Attraction Management program dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive work environment in Greater Trondheim region. Our mission is to attract, retain, and support international talents and professionals from diverse backgrounds, contributing to the growth and prosperity of businesses, research- and educational institutions and the local community.

In order to implement these strategic initiatives, Greater Trondheim region is looking to strengthen the team with enthusiastic and creative people!

We are recruiting to the following positions:

Job description

We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Program Manager for "WorkinTrondheim". This role will be instrumental in leveraging the power of networking, employer branding, and place branding to support local businesses in recruiting international talent. The successful candidate will spearhead initiatives to enhance Trondheim's reputation as a hub for innovation and opportunity while also ensuring that talent feels valued and supported in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to position Greater Trondheim Region as an attractive destination for international talent, leveraging employer branding and place branding strategies.
  • Cultivate partnerships with local businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, and international organizations to support talent attraction and retention efforts.
  • Lead networking events, workshops, and seminars to connect local businesses with international professionals and facilitate knowledge exchange.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop targeted marketing campaigns highlighting Trondheim's unique advantages and opportunities for career growth.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance talent retention, including mentorship programs, professional development opportunities, welcome services and employee engagement strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to local businesses in developing inclusive recruitment practices and fostering diverse and equitable workplaces.
  • Oversee the organization's budget and resources, ensuring effective allocation to achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications

  • We think you have a Bachelor or Masters degree, which you have applied to take on tasks within business development, marketing, HR or recruitment
  • Some experience and a strong interest in talent acquisition, employer branding, or place branding, with a focus on international recruitment.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of audiences.
  • Good communication and presentation skills. Fluency in English is required. Some capabilities in Norwegian will be an advantage.
  • Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a commitment to creating opportunities for all individuals.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities to inspire and motivate the team.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of talent attraction efforts, and make data-driven decisions to optimize recruitment strategies.
