Main tasks and responsibilities

• Provide expert technical security advice, offering architecture and hardening recommendations in alignment with industry-leading practices. Ensure that these recommendations are developed to withstand future challenges in an ever-changing technical environment and threat landscape.
• Execute technical security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and proactively mitigate potential threats.
• Lead security projects from concept to completion, collaborating closely with technical teams to implement effective security solutions and mitigate risks.
• Enhance overall security reporting to furnish stakeholders with actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making processes.
• Conduct external and internal security audits, ensuring timely follow-up on identified issues to maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Maintain documentation to showcase compliance with policies and the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures. Ensure that protocols and procedures are accurately recorded and easily accessible.
• Develop and refine cyber incident response processes to ensure the organization's readiness to effectively detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity incidents.
• Develop and oversee security training programs and exercises to educate staff on best practices and procedures.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with technical departments, fostering collaboration and communication to tackle security challenges and implement best practices.

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s in cyber security, computer science, telematics, or similar.
• Long relevant experience and/or additional qualifications can compensate for lack of relevant formal education.

Qualification requirements

• Solid technical background with minimum 5 years' experience
• Demonstrated experience in security advisory roles, with a profound understanding of security architecture and hardening techniques.
• Proficient in project management, effectively leading and executing security projects.
• Hands-on experience in conducting security risk assessments and implementing relevant controls.
• Familiarity with Telecom technologies, OT security, IAM, SIEM, is advantageous.
• Experience with the implementation of national security legislation and standards such as ISO27001, IOC62443, NOG104, NIST, ISO31000, and NS5814 is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate within a team environment.
