Here at SLB Kristiansand, we are looking to strengthen our Modification & Overhaul team with a new and motivated Operations Manager. The position is onshore with main office in Kristiansand, local connection is preferred.

About the team

The Operations Manager's team is responsible for growing market share and revenue with assigned accounts. We work to support our client’s rig equipment in operation globally. You will have a great opportunity to join a team who work as a tie-in throughout our organization and be our first point for the clients. Our products lie within rig equipment, control systems and sustainability.

About the role

The Operations Manager is responsible for establishing and building service and sales contacts with assigned customers. This person acts as operational service quality support interface for field-based customers and promotes the sale of Business Line products and services to assigned accounts. The Operations Manager work closely with the various departments in the organization to provide customer support, promote sales and deliver services.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers by regular interactions and occasional client visits, consulting with customer and other stakeholders.
• Act as customer interface with operations.
• Ensure that customer problems are responded to and appropriately managed.
• Work closely with the sales team and internal representatives to support customers globally.
• Coordinate with the service delivery organization responding to customer’s requests for support.

# Supporting operational issues.

# Field service requests and planning.

# Offer and deliver equipment upgrades, repairs, and certifications.

• Responsible for commercial support to the deliveries from the sustaining and field service organization.

# Provide basic product/service recommendations and presents to the client.

# Prepare and issue quotes.

# Receiving and delivering sales orders.

# Ensuring revenue being recognized.

Experience and education:

• Engineering degree within electrical, hydraulic systems, mechatronics, software or similar is preferred.
• Experience with customer/client engagement and communication.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.
• Good communication skills.
• 5-10 years’ experience from oil and gas industry is preferred.
